Many of Ajarn Oh’s sacred creations are connected to the Dream Method — including his Phra Ngan and even his God of Hell.

Over the years, he has created sacred pieces associated with the Ten-Direction Dream Method and Twelve-Direction Dream Method, but their foundation ultimately traces back to what his grandfather left behind:

This oil can essentially be regarded as the “Mother” and original source behind his other sacred creations.

Ajarn Oh says he has never dared to sell the oil itself because he considers its power so extreme that it can cross moral and ethical boundaries.

Instead, for decades, he has used it to soak and empower sacred creations.

This also explains its unusually thick consistency — almost like cough syrup. Sacred pieces have remained immersed within the oil over many years, with materials from those creations gradually becoming incorporated into it and thickening the original formula.

Important: The oil contains no Yin materials. It is entirely plant-based.

The well-known Northern Thai God of Heart-Stealing is also part of this Dream Method.

The lineage also connects Phra Ngan to the Dream subject. According to the account shared by Ajarn Oh, Phra Ngan did not originally exist as an independent deity but arose through the Dream Deity — the “prince” created within dreams through the overwhelming strength of human desire.

These concepts originate from ancient traditions predating the later incorporation of Sri Lankan Buddhism, which is why knowledge of them has become exceptionally rare.

⚠️ Why Ajarn Oh Refused to Sell It

Ajarn Oh has always been extremely cautious about who receives this method.

He says that if the oil falls into the hands of someone lacking judgement — or someone with genuinely malicious intentions — the consequences could become serious because:

 

“Whatever you think of can become reality”

This concern becomes even greater with practitioners whose meditation, concentration and intention are naturally stronger.

The history surrounding the oil explains his caution.

Three disciples once pleaded with Ajarn Oh to receive it, promising that they would use it only upon themselves and never for wrongdoing.

The first, a monk, broke his promise and used it upon dozens of people while they were living together. After the situation was reported, Ajarn Oh became furious, travelled to Wat Phno, where the monk was staying at the time, withdrew the method from him and told him never to disturb him again.

The second disciple used it to reconcile with an ex, but later broke his promise by selling it to relatives and friends and even used the oil to imitate Ajarn Oh’s sacred creations. Ajarn Oh withdrew the method and publicly announced that he would have nothing further to do with him.

The third disciple honoured his agreement. One day, however, he approached Ajarn Oh because a foreign buyer had unexpectedly offered him 2.5 million baht for the oil.

He promised that if Ajarn Oh permitted the sale, he would donate half of the proceeds towards building the temple.

Only then did Ajarn Oh agree.

 

🪷 Even a Renowned Monk Came Looking for It

On another occasion, a journalist obtained the sacred oil through an unexpected opportunity.

Later, an extremely renowned senior monk — whose identity cannot be disclosed — personally visited Ajarn Oh seeking the same oil.

Only after asking did Ajarn Oh discover that the journalist who had previously received it was actually a disciple of this renowned monk.
